Baking up a storm...Part 2

I said in the last post that I had a 4th of July cookout to attend and wanted to take some patriotic desserts.  I did take some cookies, but my main contribution ended up being cupcakes.  Cupcakes are my old stand by.  I love making them and always have so many ideas running through my head about what kinds to make and how to decorate them.  I finally got around to getting a jumbo round tip for decorating my cupcakes and took full advantage of that this time around.  I made red velvet with dark chocolate chunks inside and cream cheese icing, yellow with chocolate butter cream, and devil's food with butter cream.  I was so happy with the way they all turned out in the end!  It was well worth all the time I spent in the kitchen last week when you look at the finished products.
