A glimpse at my shelf
October 11, 2011
I have very few books as I never really got into reading enough to have tons and tons of books. Most of what I own is on display in this picture sadly, though I have been reading on the Kindle app on my phone/computer. This picture shows two distinct loves of mine...music and cooking. Ironically, the books I have left in my closet don't fall in either of those two categories. Actually, in this picture, most were gifts or purchased for other reasons. The Rolling Stone Illustrated History of Rock and Roll (far right), the Beatles, and Understanding the Arts and Creative Sector in the United States were all for classes in college. Hello Sunshine, 750 Cocktails, Martha Stewart Cupcakes (far left) and I Heart Macarons (not pictured) were all gifts from my sister. My mom gave me the Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook and the other spiral bound cookbooks. I bought the Rock and Roll and Love Is A Mixtape at a library book sale. That brings us to Scar Tissue. I did actually purchase this in the bookstore. Although, the Ticket Stub Diary is not technically a book, it's still my favorite up there!
This post makes me want to go out and buy some books and fill up a bookshelf (which I have no room for).
