Congratulations Jaron and Chelsea!

Over the weekend we had the privilege of taking a trip down to Bloomington to attend the wedding of one of my good friends from growing up.  Jaron and Chelsea met at IU when Jaron and I were seniors so they decided to get married in the town that started it all.  We decided to take the opportunity to get in to town a little early so we could eat lunch at one of my favorite spots and get a quick glimpse of campus.  Of course we ate lunch at Kilroys (Wyatt truly knows me - he ordered us a half order of breadsticks to split while I looked over the menu trying to decide between wings, a burger, or a quesadilla).  After lunch we took a quick walk up to the Sample Gates because as Wyatt put it... Sample Gates or it didn't happen.

I booked an apartment downtown through Air BNB for our stay so we checked into it and began to get ready for the ceremony.  I definitely recommend this apartment if you are in need of a place to stay in Bloomington and want to hit up the bars or campus.  We literally walked everywhere all weekend! Adrienne was so easy to work with too.

Jaron and Chelsea had the perfect ceremony.  They involved so many of their family and friends in the entire process of the wedding.  There was so much love put into it and you can really see what amazing people they both are and how loved they are.

It was so much fun to get to catch up with some of my really good friends that I rarely get to see because we are spread all over the place with busy lives.  We got to hang out and catch up with childhood friends and some college friends.
Love these girls.

Used to be our holiday crew until we all moved away.

High school classmates...next year is our 10 year reunion, what?
After the plenty of dancing, drinks, and reminiscing at the reception, we decided to go out on the town for a bit before calling it a night.  We went to the Root Cellar for drinks with Jordan, Catherine, Scott, and Lindsey.  I cannot believe I never went there for drinks in college.  I'm really kicking myself about it now.  I loved that place.  We parted ways with the group after that and headed back to Kilroys for a nightcap and so we could visit with one of Wyatt's friends.  Just a public service announcement: THERE IS A GRILLED CHEESE TRUCK IN BLOOMINGTON NOW.  And thank goodness for my health it was not there when I was.

I am already missing Bloomington.  It is a place so near and dear to my heart that no visit seems long enough!  Congratulations to the happy couple and best wishes in this new chapter of life together Jaron and Chelsea!

xoxo
