Draper James

Can we all take a moment to swoon over Reese Witherspoon's new website, Draper James? I had in fact not heard about the site until my friend told me to look at it right when it launched.  I guess you can say that my friends know me pretty well.  Melissa was right.  I absolutely love it. LOVE.  Not only does it have the cutest things for sale like these Southern sayings cocktail napkins, but I love the Love, Reese sections and most definitely LOVE the Southernisms.  I am born and raised a Hoosier which isn't exactly a Southern Belle, but something about that Southern charm appeals to me in the sincerest sense.  Here are some of my favorites of the clothing and accessories.  I am really enjoying the magnolia print!

I love reading the Draper James Seven so here are mine.

1) What is your favorite Southern city?
Charleston, SC

2) Favorite Southern restaurant?
Minero in Charleston. A brainchild of Chef Sean Brock, this place was so good we went two days in a row back in January.  Do try the queso fundido and a michelada for me if you're ever in the neighborhood.

3) Favorite Southern tradition?

4) Sweet tea or unsweetened?
I love a good sweet tea, but I can also appreciate unsweetened tea all in the same.  As long as it's cold, I will love it.

5) Cowboy boots or heels?
Heels

6) How do you describe Southern style?
When I think about Southern style, I envision classic and chic pieces.  A Southern woman is always well put together and it's clear a lot of thought is put into it.  Pearls, color, and floral prints are a gal's best friend in the South.

7)Describe your style.
My style tends to lean towards the preppy side but is always an eclectic mix of things.  Comfort is key to me but I still like to look well put together and polished.  I love bold and bright colors year round even though living in north central Indiana, we have some brutal winters sometimes.  Lilly Pulitzer is my favorite.

I will leave you with one of those Southernisms that I mentioned above.
