We ended our week of concerts with the Rolling Stones at the Indianapolis Speedway! Just us and about 50,000 other people out on a gorgeous night to enjoy some rock and roll and fireworks. I am so glad that I decided to get us tickets. The Stones are just one of those bands that I couldn't pass up. They certainly did not disappoint either. I had an amazing time and really enjoyed them. They still sound pretty darn good.
They played a pretty solid set as far as song selection went. I loved when they came back for the encore with the Butler University Chorale to help sing. And can we talk about wardrobe changes? They had plenty. Even though they're British, it was definitely a great way to spend our Fourth of July!

That's a wrap on our concerts for a couple of weeks. We're already both looking forward to Forecastle! We sat last year's festival out and opted for a week in South Carolina/Georgia instead. Here's a recap from the the 2013 and the 2012 festival. We're lucky enough to be heading down to Louisville in two weeks for our third festival together. *Sappy reflection alert* Still ever thankful that Forecastle was instrumental in pushing us to date a little over three years ago now after having been friends for six years.
