I went up to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate one of my favorite bride-to-be's, Kahli, last weekend. I went up Friday night with some of my friends who would also be attending the bachelorette (or the bachelor party as the groom had his in Chicago last weekend too). We had an amazing dinner at Mercadito and drinks at the Broken Shaker. Both were super fun and trendy spots.
On Saturday morning, we played tourists. We didn't have activities schedule until afternoon so we decided to go check out the Bean. Much to our dismay, it actually snowed off and on all morning and into the afternoon. We grabbed a quick lunch at Shake Shack and then did a little shopping on Michigan Avenue.
We stopped by a little neighborhood bar for a quick drink before parting ways with the guys that afternoon and then we made our way to the Brass Ring for our first bachelorette activity, a pole dancing class. We all had a good time and didn't take ourselves too seriously. I designed a logo for the weekend and had shirts made for us to wear during the class and was thrilled with how they turned out! It was such a workout. After the class, we had dinner at Hub 51. I had some delicious sushi and miso soup. After dinner, we walked over to have drinks at Rebar. Kahli opened her gifts and we enjoyed a cocktail. After that we went to Pippin's Tavern. We ended up hanging out here the rest of the night and the guys from the bachelor party even joined us to end the night. I had so much fun celebrating the bride-to-be!

I ended the ended the weekend by meeting back up with Wyatt and having a quick breakfast with Melissa before heading back to Lafayette. The fun filled weekend definitely exhausted me. I'm still recovering.
