Last weekend was a great weekend for music in Indianapolis! We kicked it off by seeing Father John Misty outside at the amphitheater at Garfield Park on Friday night! It was our third time to see him and second this year. As always, it was a great set!
On Saturday and Sunday, we attended a brand new music festival with Allison called Holler on the Hill. It also took place at Garfield Park. We had such a good time and we even discovered some new artists that we really enjoy! It was the festival's first year so we weren't sure what to expect but overall it was a great festival and we can't wait to attend it again next year! We hope it continues to grow and fair well in Indianapolis. On day one we saw Jeremy Pinnel, Isreal Nash, Jonathan Tyler, John Paul White, Caamp, Lera Lynn, Bigfoot Yancey,
Amanda Shires, Blitzen Trapper, and St. Paul & the Broken Bones.

Day two had much pretty weather with gorgeous sunshine and blue skies. We ate at Hopcat
(blood mary bar!) before we made our way to the festival. We saw Anders Osborne, Whiskey Wolves of the West, Jamestown Revival, Billy Strings, and Moon Taxi. We ate dinner at the food trucks in the festival. I had buffalo mac and cheese! It was a little chilly so I ended up warming up with some coffee from Tinker Coffee too. We also noticed that Karen from the show Good Bones (which is filmed in Indianapolis) was sitting near us with her family so that was a fun discovery!
