These little beauties were my first attempt to make macarons. I've had my eye on macrons for a while now but they always seemed so intimidating. I finally caved and decided I had to at least try them. For a first attempt, they were ok. I searched all over the internet and compared tons of recipes before deciding to use a tutorial that Tartelette wrote.
It was my first time making a meringue and baking anything that was temperamental. I am excited to try these again. This batch was just a plain shell with a Raspberry Chocolate Ganache. Even though they did not turn out just right, they still tasted yummy! There are so many different flavor combinations and colorings that look amazing.

Here's to hoping the next batch turns out a little better and every bit as tasty!
Cheers,
