Mark and Jackie got married on September 17 in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. We flew into to San Antonio which is about an hour and half away from Marble Falls where we stayed just a few minutes down the road from Horseshoe Bay. We flew in on Friday and were able to attend the wonderful rehearsal dinner. We enjoyed a Texas style BBQ.

The ceremony was a wonderful little Catholic Chapel that overlooks the water below. We enjoyed lovely music played on the violin and cello and nice ceremony. The reception was held at the Horseshoe Bay Marriott Yacht Club. We enjoyed a cocktail hour before finding out tables in the main room. Our place cards were designed to look like boarding passes. It was so clever and very cute. We received pint glasses as our favor. I love that idea!

The food was split into three different styles. There was a Gulf of Mexico station, Hill Country station, and West Texas station. Everything I had was delicious. Perhaps one of my favorite parts about the reception was Mark's cake. Not only was it so yummy (chocolate cake with reese's peanut butter cups and chocolate ganache) it was an IU Basketball cake! Obviously it was going to steal my heart. Jackie's cake was gorgeous too. Simple with gorgeous flowers that matched the bouquets and tables. It was such a pretty reception.
Sunday we went to San Antonio and visited the River Walk and the Alamo before flying home on Monday.
Congratulation Mark and Jackie!
Love,
