Hello Autumn!

This last Saturday was a gorgeous fall day in Southern Indiana.  We made plans to visit with my Papaw and then head on down to Louisville for lunch at Lynn's with Thom and Pam.  When we arrived at my Papaw's, we found a note that he was at his other farm, so we hopped in the jeep and headed that way.  It was so pretty out there that morning.  We visited for a short time, just long enough to snap a picture and then headed back to Thom and Pam's to head down to lunch.  I hadn't been to Lynn's in a couple of years.  I had forgotten just how much I really love the eclectic decor.  If I were going to open a store or restaurant, I'd want to decorate it like that.  It's so fun.

After lunch, we headed back to Orange county.  We stopped by to check out the harvest going on at one of my uncle's friends' places.  The bean fields were being harvested using a 1955 John Deere combine.  It was pretty neat to think that the combine was so old and still up and running.  We had a nice little view of the country Saturday afternoon.  Every year fall comes in and I remember how much I love sunny fall afternoons and sunny afternoon drives in the country.

6. Fall is here!
