'Tis the Season

Now that Thanksgiving has came and gone, it's officially Christmas season.  Last week I delivered some Christmas cookies off to Nashville for the Christmas season and helped my parents with their photo shoot for their Christmas card.  I even got in on the action for a snap or two.

On Thursday morning I drove up to Lafayette for Thanksgiving with Wyatt's family and stayed through the weekend.  Lots of lunches, family, and friends.  It was a great long weekend.

Now that Turkey day has passed, it's officially acceptable to go all out with Christmas decorations, music, etc.  My room is not quite ready for my Christmas tree so I started with just a few things: a banner, my nutcracker, and I switched out my vanity stand top for the holiday in preparation for my company Christmas party this weekend.  I designed and printed a new print to fill my frame on it, added a gold poinsettia to my bud vase, and added one of my Anthropologie inspired snow globes

Outfit perfect for any holiday party.
The month of December is so busy, but I hope y'all get to enjoy it.  I know I am going to savor every moment of the holiday season.  It just seems so special, don't you think?
