Southern Indiana

It had been far too long since Wyatt and I ventured down to visit my Papaw so we spent Saturday in Southern Indiana visiting with him.  We got to see my parents who were there on their weekly visit as well.  It was great to hear about my Papaw's recent trips to Kansas.  Can you believe he's 96 and still going on road trips out to Kansas?  I get exhausted on our day trips to Southern Indiana!  Oh and the stories from high school.  I am so grateful for my visits with my Papaw even if they aren't as often as I would like.  I used to get to visit my Papaw once a week when I still lived at home but now that I'm three hours away, it can sometimes prove to be difficult to get down to see him.  We are fortunate to get the opportunity to see Wyatt's Pa almost once a week and sometimes more.

On our way back to Lafayette, we stopped off in Indianapolis for dinner with Allison.  We parked on the street near the canal and walked in to meet Allison before dinner.  We went to Twenty Tap for dinner.  You definitely should never leave that place hungry.  We got a basket of fries and cheese curds as appetizers and we each all had giant sandwiches!  I had the muffalette and it was delish!  It's definitely a place we will be going back to in the future.
