Newfields: Hello Spring

I volunteered at the Best Buddies of Indiana's Friendship Walk in Indianapolis on Sunday.  It was a cold, windy and somewhat dreary morning but it was so wonderful to see so many people out to support Best Buddies!

Since I was done with that by about 11, Allison and I decided we'd spend the day together for lunch and a trip to Newfields to see their flower exhibit for spring called Hello Spring!  We had lunch in Broadripple at La Piedad.  The sun came out and things warmed up considerably.  It turned into a gorgeous afternoon! We also toured the Lilly House while there.  After we left Newfields, we stopped on Mass Ave for some frozen yogurt! It was such a fun afternoon.
