Wedding Wednesday: Little White Dress

One piece of advice I read online was to keep an eye for little white dresses because they can hard to find in fall and winter. Depending on when you get engaged and set your wedding date for, it could be difficult to find the perfect LWD.  There are so many events to consider wearing white to like engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, dress shopping, welcome party, rehearsal dinner, etc.

Luckily, we got engaged in February and our wedding isn't until next April so that gives me an entire year to browse for great dresses and deals.  I got lucky and found the prettiest Lilly Pulitzer white lace dress NWT on a buy, sell, trade board.  I snagged it up at a steal of a price.  I already wore it to my first dress shopping appointment with my mom, future mother-in-law, and a couple friends.  I plan to wear it a couple more times for wedding related activities because I love it so much.  Here is a newer, similar version of my dress.

I'm still keeping my out for another fun summer dress in white and will look for some winter whites as fall and winter approach.  I love this Free People dress! And the lace dress below is the oh so popular dress that has been making the rounds in the blogging world since this past spring.
