John Mayer

Rounding out our week of concerts, we did something I hadn't done since I was in college.  We went to a stadium show.  I hadn't been to Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a concert since I saw the Who with Allison and Dad.  Ironically, Pino Pallandino was playing the bass at both.  We saw John Mayer for the first time in a few years and I was pumped! I was so excited to see him again.  We wanted to see Dead and Co this summer but had a house issue pop up that day that could not be put off.  I was glad we could at least still see John solo later in the summer.

He seems so much more mature and so happy with himself these days.  It was fun to watch him have fun. The Indy crowd sang and danced to every.single.song.  It didn't go unnoticed. The energy was definitely up a level for this show.
