Greensky Bluegrass

For dad's birthday we got tickets for the family to see Greensky Bluegrass at Garfield Park the week after his birthday! It was a fun outing and the weather was perfect! It was our second MOKB concert in Indy in three days.  We saw Soccer Mommy at the Hi-Fi on Tuesday. That was a great show too. A lot of good music coming through Indy these days.

Murder by Death

We grabbed tickets for the Murder By Death concert when we were at the Hi-Fi for the Bigfoot Yancey show. They are one of Wyatt's favorites to see.  We've seen them a few times together.  We celebrated Wyatt's birthday with his parents with dinner at their house before we drove down to the show in Indy. They played another really great set.

Bigfoot Yancey

I won tickets to go to the Merry Mashup with Moxxie, Brother O Brother, and Bigfoot Yancey at the Hi-Fi from Do 317.  I got Allison a ticket and she, Wyatt, and I went to the show last night.  We saw some of Bigfoot Yancey's set at Holler on the Hill back in September and loved them.  They played first and we were so excited to see them.  They were great.  We even got to see them playing a saw as an instrument. It was so cool!

I made Wyatt drive us around the circle to see the monument on our way from the Hi-Fi to drop Allison off at home because we hadn't seen the lights on the circle yet. We got to check off another one of my holiday to-do list just in time for Christmas!
