Music Monday: Summer Playlist

Even though I may not have the summer off like every year up 'til now, I still find the need to make a summer playlist (but who am I kidding? I can find about any reason to make a playlist). This summer's playlist is a mix of old and new. Some of the songs instantly take me back to past summer memories.  This one, unlike most that I make, has not been strategically arranged because I have yet to burn it to a disc.  While it's on my computer/ipod, it gets shuffled.  So, forgive me for the lack of thoughtful transitions and progressions.

How Bizzare reminds me of countless summer days spent at the city pool.  Semi-Charmed Life will always take me back to a summer vaca in Charleston, SC when I first heard the song.  Don't you just love songs like that? I do.  I get very nostalgic with songs sometimes.  Speaking of Third Eye Blind....I miss them. I don't know if I will ever get tired of their self-titled album.  It always puts me in a good mood and makes for great driving music in my opinion.
