I am in love with these little DIY cupcake stands via Modern Moments. I will be making these soon and I can't wait!!

I made some new cupcakes over the long weekend and tried out my neon food colorings to make some brightly colored icing. It may have looked like a kindergarten class picked the colors, but I had fun seeing what I could come up with...

I made a Georgetown Cupcake recipe for chocolate cupcakes and vanilla cream cheese frosting. Although it wasn't the perfect consistency for decorating them (i.e. my flower below looks pretty bad), the colors were so vibrant and the cupcakes are yummy! I definitely recommend this recipe!
