Wyatt and I went downtown on Saturday night to get some dinner at Germanfest. We missed it last year but discovered how much we liked the beef schnitzel the year before. While we were there we walked around a little bit to see how it had expanded since the last time we had been before we grabbed schnitzel and potato salad. We each grabbed a XXX root beer and decided to forego the beer lines. For dessert I had molten lava cake from the Bavarian chocolate stand. After we ate we wandered a bit more and watched the polka band perform a few more songs. We decided to check out the other band on the smaller stage before we headed home. It was a great cover band playing rock covers. While we were watching them, we ran into some people we know so we stayed a bit longer visiting with them.
