Happy Memorial Day! Thanks to all the men and women who have served or currently serve in the military for our country! I'm so thankful for those who have sacrificed so much to serve, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Last week, we had dinner with Wyatt's parents and aunt at our favorite spot downtown, the Black Sparrow. It was a lovely evening so we walked around downtown a little bit. That's when I snapped that gorgeous picture of our courthouse above. We also walked to the pedestrian bridge across the Wabash River.
We finally made it to a Farmers' Market on Saturday! It was cloudy but nice morning after a brief rain shower came through. We stopped and got a donut at Mary Lou Donuts and then drove ahead downtown and walked around the market. It was great to see so many people downtown.
We went a few block up to Smittybread to grab lunch and a loaf of their Lafayette sourdough bread! It's so cute and was delicious! We'll be back for bread and for sandwiches!
Yesterday, we spend the afternoon and evening over at our friends' house for fajitas and margaritas! It was so fun and the food was so good. One word...queso.
Today, we spent half the day with Wyatt's parents working on cleaning out the garage! It was hot out there today! But we got so much accomplished!
