Harvest at Newfields
October 7, 2019
Over the weekend, I attended Harvest at Newfields with the Adventure Group from Junior League and my sister came too! You know I love Newfields so I was so excited to check this out. This was the inaugural event and I hope they continue to hold it each year because it was so cute and fun. We had the most perfect weather: sunny, blue skies, and in the 70s. We couldn't have asked for better. We walked into the grounds and ended up taking a quick tour of the Lilly House first.
Everything was decorated beautifully. It made me want to go back to Kent's and get way more pumpkins and gourds for our front step. We made our way to the beer garden and discovered a beer tasting passport activity. We all decided to do it. There were a couple local hard ciders and four local Octoberfest style beers to try. We also made out way over to the animals and apple orchard. There were so many fun activities for the you to do with your family and a culinary village too! We made a quick stop at the culinary village to grab some Circle City Kombucha! Run out and try their harvest apple flavor whenever you can because it was the best thing I had all day!
Now, I am really looking forward to Winterlights!
