Fashion Friday: Sucker for Seersucker

Scalloped Shorts | Hat | Bathing Suit Top | Bathing Suit Bottom | Shorts | Dress

Yesterday was National Seersucker day!  I am mildly obsessed with seersucker.  I would wear it everyday if I owned enough of it to do so.  It is definitely one of those quintessential summer fabrics that is perfect for any summer occasion.  It can be casual or dressed up but always looks so chic.  I plan to wear the bow back seersucker dress to a wedding next weekend!  Here are some of the ways I've incorporated seersucker into my life lately.

My favorite new koozie!

Country Club Chic

This weekend Wyatt and a few of his friends went to play golf at the Battle Ground Golf Club.  Connie and I tagged along.  I have to say this was my first time out on the golf course. It was fun until the rains came and settled in leaving everything sloshy.  The boys called it a day after about 12 holes.

After a day out on the course, Wyatt and I decided to have dinner at South Street Smokehouse, one of our favorites in town.  We tried the fried pickles I had been eyeing on the menu for the last several times.  Yum!  We both agree that we prefer fried pickle chips rather than fried pickle spears, but these were still so good.  For my meal I had the Carolina sandwich with pulled pork and cole slaw.  It's so good!

Fashion Friday: 4th of July

The 4th of July is coming up and what better way to show your patriotic spirit than by your dress?    The 4th usually means a time for people to have barbecues, parties, fairs, and fireworks.  Whether you go the super casual route, dress it up, go all out with flag apparel, or just wear your RWB, it is super easy to arrive in style.  Here are some of my favorites.

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

I do not have any plans for the 4th yet, but I did manage to pick up a pretty cute lightweight summer scarf that is blue with white stars all over it and have went through and mentally created several outfits with my  RWB clothes.  Coincidentally, I am wearing the perfect outfit now (minus the accessories).  I am considering doing this nail design for the holiday too.  It is too cute.

How do you like to celebrate the 4th of July?
